Beginners Class I

White-Yellow Belts for Children Ages 7-9 Years Old

Imagine your child had the courage to stand up to bullies, the confidence to resist peer pressure, and the ability to recognize the ploys predators use to gain their trust……. We can help make this a reality.

Our beginners’ class introduces your child to a variety of important skills centered on learning how to learn, maintaining focus, and following directions. A typical class may include some of the following:

  • Traditional karate techniques including kata
  • Manners, Respect and Self-Discipline
  • Setting and achieving goals
  • Setting healthy boundaries
  • Responsibility and the consequences of choices
  • How to self-protect including what to do if they get lost and bully and stranger safety issues
  • How to effectively deal with mistakes, failures and setbacks to turn them into positives

All belts must be earned by demonstrating a thorough knowledge of the class curriculum.

All safety skills are taught through fun, non-threatening, interactive role playing. Elements from the radKids curriculum are included in this class

Beginners Class II
